The Practical Comms Jungle Antenna System is a lightweight, rapid-deployment antenna system designed for dependable VHF/UHF field communications. Greatly extending your range and signal quality. The antenna is rated to 100 watts of power.

Antenna connector is BNC female and requires BNC male coax or adapter. Adapters for Baofeng, BTECH, or Anytone type handheld radios are available on this site.

The included collapsible frame arrives pre-assembled and deploys in seconds, allowing you to get on the air quickly without tools or permanent supports. Simply unfold the frame, connect your own coaxial cable and radio, and you're ready to operate.

The included VHF/UHF Jungle Antenna is precision tuned for the 2-meter (144–148 MHz) and 70-centimeter (440–450 MHz) amateur radio bands, providing excellent performance across the VHF/UHF ham bands.

In addition, the antenna is also resonant and usable on both the GMRS and MURS bands, making it a versatile option for operators who use multiple radio services. While it performs very well on these frequencies, it is specifically optimized for the amateur VHF/UHF bands.

The antenna is designed to be hoisted into a tree or suspended from a mast, making it ideal for portable field deployments where elevation improves performance.

For quick deployment into trees, it pairs perfectly with the Practical Comms Throw Bag, or you can use your own throw line, paracord, and throw weight.
