Radio will be programmed with the Practical Comms standard template which gives you GMRS, MURS, NOAAA weather, Additionally It will be programmed with repeaters local to your zip code if there are any.

Pouch type may vary due to availability, Pouch will be Molle and zippered.

The Practical Comms Ultra-Compact 20-Watt Pouch Radio is designed for users who need more capability than a handheld radio but don't want the size, weight, or complexity of a traditional manpack.

This system arrives fully assembled, tested, programmed, and ready to use right out of the box. The radio and battery are integrated into a compact field-ready package using custom-built power cables and mounting hardware, eliminating the need to carry separate batteries, loose cables, or additional power accessories.

The radio offers selectable power levels, allowing the user to reduce output when full power is not needed. Typical power settings are approximately:

• Low: 5 watts

• Medium: 10 watts

• High: 20 watts

Lower power settings can help extend battery life when operating close-range, through nearby repeaters, or when full output is not necessary.

Each system includes:

• 20-Watt VHF/UHF Mobile Radio (AnyTone AT-779UV or Retevis RA25 depending on current availability)

• TalentCell LiFePO4 Battery Pack (Model 4100 or 4106 depending on current availability)

• Custom-built power cable assembly

• Remote speaker microphone

• Right-angle BNC antenna adapter

• Battery charger

• Programming cable

• Molle pouch with room for additional gear and accessories

• Fully assembled, tested, and configured system

PROGRAMMING INCLUDED

Each radio is programmed prior to shipment using the customer's ZIP code and includes a practical channel lineup designed for everyday use.

Programming may include:

• Local amateur radio repeaters, where available

• NOAA Weather Radio channels

• GMRS channels

• MURS channels

• Common simplex frequencies

• Practical Comms standard channel organization

This allows most users to begin using the radio immediately upon arrival without the need for programming software or additional setup.

The integrated battery provides hours of monitoring time and allows operation without vehicle power, making this system ideal for field use, emergency communications, camping, off-grid use, travel, event support, and general portable radio use.
